8 Dance Performances to See in N.Y.C. This Weekend

MOLISSA FENLEY AND COMPANY at Danspace Project (June 21-23, 8 p.m.). In Their Mark, an evening of new dance and new music, Ms. Fenley collaborates with the percussionist Frank Cassara and the violist Ralph Farris on the piece Water Table. It includes four dances (three of which are new) that investigate qualities of water. Each one is set to music by a different composer: Linda Bouchard, Andrew Toovey, Tigran Mansurian or Mr. Cassara. The program also features a shortened version of Mix, a work from 1979 in which Ms. Fenley explores a series of rhythmic phrases and changing spatial patterns to the accompaniment of her dancers' footsteps and claps.
