At almost the same time, American Dance Guild is running its festival, billed as celebrating diversity, but it might as well also be celebrating dance history. Of the 34 acts scheduled over four nights, there are works by important artists including Garth Fagan, Molissa Fenley and Margie Gillis, also dance pioneer Bella Lewitzky as well as new works, Native American dance and choreography for dancers in wheelchairs.
