Dance Listings for Jan. 6-12

Molissa Fenley (Monday) Ms. Fenley’s clean, contemplative dances — with their gentle skewing of classical ballet lines — share a certain austerity with the sanctuary of Judson Church, making this an apt location for her concert of two new works. Music is often a key inspiration for her; this time her selections include the lushly fluid (the Philip Glass String Quartet No. 4, “Buczak”) and the whimsically fragmented (John Cage’s “Credo in Us”). At 7 p.m., Judson Memorial Church, 55 Washington Square South, Greenwich Village, (800) 838-3006, brownpapertickets.com/event/211822; $25. (Burke)
